Affinity Group Hosts RV Resort & Campground Conference & Expo
Affinity Group, Inc. (AGI), the industry leader in RV parks and campground management, development and marketing, announced that it will host, along with its affiliated brands, the first-ever RV Resort and Campground Conference and Expo March 4-6 at the South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa in Las Vegas.
The event is positioned as the foremost place to be to learn how to maximize investment in an RV park or campground. Conference attendees will learn about new developments and trends throughout the outdoor hospitality industry, including:
- Real estate issues for public and private campgrounds
- “How To” topics on how to remain profitable in the industry
- Marketing and branding tactics
- Guest services
- Property management
- Latest industry products and service offerings
“AGI and our many brands are proud to organize and host a conference of this magnitude geared specifically toward the RV parks and campground industry,” said Grant Miller, president of AGI Clubs. “Given the urban sprawl in today’s real estate environment, it has become extremely difficult for ‘mom and pop’ campground owners to remain profitable in the market. There is a tremendous need for continued development and retention of commercial parks and campgrounds, and the RV Resort and Campground Conference & Expo will serve as a sounding board for these small business owners to learn ways in which they can remain a viable commodity for today’s travelers and RV enthusiasts.”
AGI brands hosting and presenting at the event include American Guide Services, Woodall’s, Trailer Life Directory, Coast to Coast Resorts, Good Sam Club, Grand Getaways and Camp Club USA. These organizations hold respected positions within the outdoor hospitality market segment and have the resources to stay abreast of events and decisions that impact the industry as a whole, making them ideal hosts for an event of this caliber.
Keynote speakers at the conference include:
- Steve Farber, President, Extreme Leadership, Inc.
- Peter C. Yesawich, Chairman & CEO, Yesawich, Pepperdine, Brown & Russell
- Linda Profaizer, President & CEO, ARVC
