RVIA's Pomona California RV Show Set for October 10-19
Eight hundred thousand square feet of exhibit space has already been assigned to RV manufacturers and suppliers at RVIA’s 56th Annual California RV show, the largest consumer show on the West Coast.
The “Fairplex,” Los Angeles County’s Fair and Exposition building in Pomona, California, will once again host manufacturers and suppliers displaying the latest in RVs, products, and accessories during the ten-day event October 10-19.
RVIA's Board of Directors has approved a half million dollar retail advertising budget to draw attendees to this year's show. RVIA's show committee is working closely with their PR and advertising agency to ensure the advertising dollar reaches the broadest possible audience of RV owners and potential owners. Increased use of the Internet along with more traditional media will help achieve this goal
This year's show theme is 'It's All About Fun' and highlights that with an RV you take your resort with you. Emphasis will be given to the fact that RV'ing is still less expensive than air travel and staying in hotels and provides quality family time. The diversity of product that attendees can only see at the show will also be featured.
The Pomona RV show's website (www.carvshow.com) continues to be a popular place for RVers to visit and find show information as well as information on what RVers are doing to adjust to higher fuel costs, how driving an RV is different - but not difficult, the fact that RVs have less of a carbon footprint than air/hotel travel and more - all designed to support RV sales and show attendance.
Seminars at the show will help attendees select the right RV and provide tips for full timing and extended RV travel. One of the most popular seminars from previous shows will be continued this year, "Yes, You Can Drive an RV".
"Despite the current economic conditions, I think we are going to have a wonderful show," said Marsha McInnis, RVIA's Western Region Show Director. "Enthusiasm is high among exhibitors and consumers alike."
Space was allotted to attendees during a July 11 drawing. The first draw went to KZ RV, L.P., the second draw went to Lazy Daze Inc., and the third draw went to Rexhall, Inc. Limited space at the 56th Annual California RV show is still available.
